GO! GO! Beetle Roller!

About

GO! GO! Beetle Roller! is a comic-style, physics-based 3D platformer with gameplay inspired by Katamari, Monkey Ball, and Pizza Tower – with a Kamen Rider-inspired protagonist. The game features 10 arcade-style levels, with 3 time-based ranks to reach in each.

The main mechanic is the players "ball gadget," which grows in size with powerups and shrinks when squashing enemies. The player must manage the size of their ball in order to destroy enemies at certain power levels, and fit through certain spaces.

The game was produced in one semester for a Unity class at Eastern Michigan University. The game had a core team of four developers, and I was effectively responsible for leading development.
