Robosynthesis

About

Robosynthesis is a 3D action/puzzle platformer, where the player awakens as a solar-powered robot in a post-apocalyptic data center. The game is largely inspired by Portal, Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion, and Metroid Prime.

The main mechanic is that every player action, such as moving, jumping, or shooting, consumes a single energy resource. Energy is recovered from light shafts and item pickups placed throughout each level. Every action must be carefully considered, as it could be your last!

The game was produced in one semester for my senior project at Eastern Michigan University. The game had a core team of five developers, and I was effectively responsible for leading development.
